CQD quality layer · Commercial premises only
After the clean: AI quality review.
Show the work. Keep the judgement human.
After an agreed area is cleaned, CQD takes matched before-and-after photographs. The review scores the visible result and flags what it cannot see. The account owner approves a short, premises-ready report before anyone else reads it.
Review logic
Visible first.

The matched comparison
The difference is visible.
These illustrative views show the kind of evidence a review can work from: a matched angle before the clean, then after. A visual score is useful because it is specific about what the camera can see.

How it works
A short loop. A human decision.
The review is deliberately narrow: it scores what is visible and makes the boundary of that view clear.
Agree the area
We agree one area to be reviewed and what the visible result should show.
Match the views
After cleaning, matched before-and-after photographs are taken from the same angle and in the same light.
Score what is visible
The review scores the visible result and records what is out of view or cannot be assessed.
Owner sign-off
The account owner reviews the short report and approves it before it is shared.
Share as directed
The approved report is shared only with the people and teams the account owner names.
Important boundary
This is a visible-result review — not an infection-control test, a hygiene swab test or a substitute for a supervisor’s physical inspection.
Where it fits in the CQD quality system
An extension of governance.
AI quality review adds a second view of the visible result. It does not replace supervisor sign-off, the published audit bands, the four-zone colour protocol or the documented cleaning specification.
Supervisor sign-off
A trained person remains accountable for the physical inspection and the agreed standard.
Published audit bands
Band 1: 95% weekly · Band 2: 92% monthly · Band 3: 90% every two months · Band 4: 85% quarterly.
Four-zone protocol
Red washrooms, blue general areas, green kitchens and yellow clinical or isolation areas. Equipment stays in its zone.
Cleaning specification
The agreed specification remains the reference point for what should be cleaned, checked and reported.
The limitation credit
Confidence includes boundaries.
The review is not a bacteria, allergen or infection detector. It cannot see inside closed units, behind fixtures or above ceiling level, and it cannot assess the contact-time or dwell-time of products. Those limits are recorded rather than hidden.
That is the point of the service: a clear visual record, a visible score and a human decision about what the evidence can support.

Frequently asked
Clear answers, upfront.
A practical view of the quality layer for facilities managers, office managers and account owners.
01Is this available on all subscriptions?
AI quality review is offered across Bronze, Silver and Gold as an added quality layer. The agreed area and review approach are confirmed with the account owner.
02Does it replace a supervisor inspection?
No. It extends CQD quality governance; it does not replace a supervisor inspection, the documented cleaning specification or the judgement of a trained person on site.
03What happens to the demo photos?
The illustrative demo images on this page are not client premises. In a live review, captured images are discarded after analysis in line with the agreed review process.
04Which areas can be reviewed?
One agreed area at a time can be reviewed, with up to three matched views per area. The photographs are planned around the visible surfaces and agreed specification.
05Who sees the report?
Nobody sees the report until the account owner approves it. After approval, it is shared only as the account owner directs.
06Is it available on all premises types?
Yes — it is available for commercial premises only, including offices, business parks, schools, medical and dental practices, retail, warehouses, gyms, hospitality, event venues, data centres, places of worship, cinemas and co-working spaces.
