Commercial cleaning transitions · South East England

Thinking of changing your cleaning company?

Switch to CQD.

You should not have to chase cleaners, report the same issue twice, or wonder whether today’s clean happened. CQD is built around a written specification, known teams, quality checks and one accountable point of contact.

Free, no-obligation site assessment · Written specification · Fixed monthly pricing · No long-term contract

For the people responsible for the building

Facilities managers, office managers, operations managers, practice managers, school and business administrators, property managers and business owners.

A familiar pattern

If any of these sound familiar

These are ordinary commercial service problems. They become expensive in management time when no one has made the standard, the checks or the ownership visible.

01

Cleaners not turning up

The agreed service is not reliably present when the building needs it.

02

Inconsistent standards

The result changes from one visit or week to the next.

03

Constantly changing staff

New faces keep having to learn the building from scratch.

04

Poor communication

Questions, changes or issues take too long to reach the right person.

05

No clear accountability

It is unclear who owns the standard when something is missed.

06

Missed tasks

The specification is not visible enough to know what has been covered.

07

No cover when someone is absent

A planned clean depends on one person being available.

08

Having to chase the cleaning company

Managing the cleaning service becomes another job.

09

Uncertainty over what is actually being cleaned

The service is described broadly, without a useful written scope.

10

No visible quality-control process

Checks and sign-off are not easy for your team to see.

A clearer operating model

What changes when CQD takes over

The CQD difference

A service model you can see.

This is a comparison of service models, written to make the operating shape clear. It is not a judgement on any individual provider.

A careful legal point

TUPE, discussed openly.

Switching a commercial cleaning provider does not automatically mean staff transfer to you. Where TUPE applies, it is a legal matter that CQD will discuss openly with you before anything is agreed. The CQD model uses its own vetted, DBS-checked, reference-verified teams and does not ask you to manage that process.

Practical handover

How to exit your current arrangement

1. Check your notice period.
Read the current terms before making a change.

2. Put it in writing.
Send notice through the agreed channel.

3. Agree an end date.
Make the handover date clear to everyone.

4. Let CQD plan around it.
CQD subscriptions carry 30 days’ notice either way.

Questions before you move

Switching, answered.

Is the site assessment really free?

Yes. The private site assessment and cleaning specification carry no cost or obligation. They let CQD understand the building before any monthly subscription is agreed.

How quickly can CQD take over?

Mobilisation and the start of daily cleaning typically happen within 5–7 working days of the specification being agreed. The practical start date is planned around your building and current arrangement.

Do we need to be in a contract to switch?

No. You can check your current notice period, put your decision in writing and agree an end date. CQD subscriptions carry 30 days’ notice either way and do not require a long-term contract.

Does switching mean our staff transfer?

Switching a commercial cleaning provider does not automatically mean staff transfer to you. Where TUPE applies, it is a legal matter that CQD will discuss openly with you before anything is agreed. CQD uses its own vetted, DBS-checked, reference-verified teams and does not ask you to manage that process.

What happens to our current cleaners?

You should follow the notice and handover terms in your current arrangement. CQD can plan mobilisation around the agreed end date and will discuss any TUPE considerations openly before anything is agreed.
