Washroom cleaning and restocking

A dependable washroom routine covering cleaning, presentation and agreed replenishment for the facilities people use and notice every day.

The commercial brief

Cleaning that fits the building.

Washrooms are one of the clearest signals of how a commercial building is managed. They need a routine that covers cleaning, touch points, floors, waste, presentation and the replenishment agreed with the site. CQD assesses the number and use of washrooms, access windows, facilities and consumables before writing the specification. The dedicated team then follows a clear red-zone sequence that fits the building’s daily rhythm.

The service can include toilets, basins, mirrors, cubicles, floors, dispensers, touch points, sanitary waste arrangements, bins and agreed consumables. CQD can also include staff, visitor, clinical or changing-room washrooms where relevant to the site. The routine is coordinated with kitchens, offices, floors and shared areas so equipment stays in the right zone. Restocking requirements are recorded clearly, and Gold can include washroom consumables fulfilment for the agreed specification.

A washroom is a high-frequency test of the cleaning service. Staff, visitors, patients, guests and members notice when supplies are missing, surfaces are marked or the room feels neglected. Facilities managers need an accountable routine rather than a last-minute check by another member of staff. CQD provides the same dedicated two-person team, COSHH-compliant products and supervisor oversight, making the standard and any changes easier to discuss. A response within 2 hours helps when the team needs to raise a service question.

Washroom cleaning and restocking can sit within Bronze, Silver and Gold monthly subscriptions. Bronze includes washroom cleaning and restocking; Silver adds machine hard-floor cleaning, deeper kitchen and breakroom care and daily touch-point sanitisation; Gold adds daily machine floor cleaning, washroom consumables fulfilment and regular inspection and sign-off. The initial deep clean is included at commencement. There are no long-term contracts and no TUPE requirement, with 24/7 availability and mobilisation within 5–7 working days.

CQD mobilises within 5–7 working days once the specification is agreed. The same dedicated two-person team becomes familiar with the site, supported by ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems, CHAS, BICSc, DBS-checked staff and COSHH-compliant products. Service is available 24/7, and enquiries receive a response within 2 hours. If the building or its operating pattern changes, the specification can be reviewed with the person responsible for the premises. The next step is a free site survey, followed by a clear monthly plan with no long-term contract. It also keeps responsibility in one operating relationship: the site has a named team, a written specification and a clear route to adjust the service when occupancy, rooms or access arrangements change.
